“The Explorer” is a short 3D animated dark comedy film. During an exploratory journey to another planet, a young explorer, Bob, finds himself slowly losing what makes him unique. The look of the film is bright, playful, and toy-like, in an ironic contrast to the underlying dark tone of the story.
